Mayor Judith Kennedy - October 25, 1944 - April 15, 2018
As many of you already know, Mayor Judy Kennedy passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Kaplan Hospice Center surrounded by family and friends.
She touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed. Let us remember her words as we individually and collectively move forward in our own lives and with the people we meet each and every day: “We’ve got to help each other rise together.”
Mayor Judy Kennedy’s "Transition of Life Service" will be held on April 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center located at 321 South William St. Newburgh, NY 12550.
The Mayor wanted all to consider donating live flowers in order for them to be replanted to beautify our City or send donations to: The City of Newburgh Shot Spotter Program, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh and the Newburgh Ministry.
"This is a very exciting time in Newburgh's history to be its Mayor. We are at a crossroads of economic development initiative, educational opportunities, and historic preservation.
As Mayor, I welcome new residents, businesses, and visitors to come see and be part of our renaissance!" - Judy Kennedy
