The boil water notice has been lifted by the City of Newburgh for the affected area from Washington Street from 9W to William Street and William Street from Ann to Broadway. All repairs have been completed and the required testing of the City of Newburgh water system has shown an absence of Coliform. The Orange County Health Department has reviewed the sample data and has determined that the boil water notice can be lifted effective immediately. There is no need to boil your water before using.
