Neighborhood Development Task Force Meeting

The City of Newburgh will host two Neighborhood Development Task Force Meetings to update the public on developments for Newburgh property initiatives.    

The meetings will be Wednesday, February 12.

STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

2-3pm at City Hall at 83 Broadway

PUBLIC MEETING

6:30-8pm at Newburgh Free Library at 124 Geand Street

The 2 meetings have the same agenda.

Topics include:

Michael Robinson: Winner of 2019 NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Award

Michael Robinson will present on his North Miller Street passive multi-family house. The project was a 2019 winner of New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Buildings of Excellence award. The competition recognizes and rewards the design, construction, and operation of very low or zero carbon emitting multifamily buildings.

BuildingBlocks for Public Use: Map Based Applications That Connect Municipal Data 

Staff will outline products from BuildingBlocks, a map-based application that connects and updates data held in different systems and formats across departments, enabling staff to instantly retrieve data, run advanced analysis, and automate reports in a single interface.
