PFAS Exposure Assessment in Newburgh

This week the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) publicly announced the launch of the PFAS exposure assessment in the City of Newburgh. Community members in the City of Newburgh are invited to attend an information session about the PFAS exposure assessment. Scientists will provide information about ATSDR, the PFAS exposure assessment, the participant recruitment process, and upcoming PFAS testing to be conducted.

The purpose of this introductory meeting is to inform community members about the goals of the PFAS exposure assessment, the recruitment and participation process, and to answer people’s questions and concerns.
