As part of the Environmental Justice Fellowship program, the Conservation Advisory Council, Greater Newburgh Parks Conservancy, and Outdoor Promise, invite community members to take a tree survey for the City of Newburgh.
The Environmental Justice Fellowship program is training four Newburgh Fellows over a 28-week period about the benefits of trees in urban areas. Your input will assist in creating a strong community-led movement to plant and protect trees in the City and will help to identify areas for fall 2021 tree planting. The program will culminate with the planting of 16 trees throughout the city.
The program will advocate for the importance of trees in our city and help foster a culture of tree stewardship through community engagement and online outreach.
