Please be advised of an upcoming traffic pattern change on the Walsh Road Bridge which carries Walsh Road over the Quassaick Creek in the area between the City of Newburgh and the Town of New Windsor.
Traffic over the Walsh Road Bridge will be changed to alternating one-lane traffic starting at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Travelers should be prepared to stop at each side of the bridge before crossing to accommodate the single lane of traffic.
Please also be advised that the City will be issuing additional closures of the Walsh Road Bridge in the upcoming months to allow for the full replacement of this bridge.
