The City of Newburgh has published a 108.92-acre survey of the Crystal Lake area on the City website. The survey marks an important first step in the Crystal Lake planning process for the potential future use as an open space for public use and recreation.

The survey was completed by Control Point Associates, Inc., P.C. utilizing GPS and LiDAR technology and provides the parcel boundaries, area topography, and existing features (structures, trails, waterbody limits, etc). Funding for the survey was allocated in the 2023 budget.
