The 2021 Summer Playground Series is taking place at Audrey Carey Park (251 Liberty Street) this week from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.! Stop in to enjoy recreational fun and a free breakfast & lunch! No registration is required to participate in the Summer Playground series.
The Youth Developmental Soccer and Basketball Leagues are in full swing! Those interested, can register their child in person at the Activity Center (401 Washington Street) or via the Recreation Department website. Practices and games are held at the Delano Hitch Park Soccer Field and Basketball Courts.
A public forum regarding New York State's Emergency Rental Assistance Program (“ERAP”) will be held on July 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the Activity Center for both tenants and landlords who are struggling as a result of the COVID pandemic. No registration is required. Masks and social distancing recommendations are being followed in accordance with CDC guidelines. Don’t miss your chance to learn how to navigate the ERAP application process.
Mark your calendar for Community Appreciation Day! Come join the Police Community Relations and Review Board this Saturday, July 24, at Downing Park from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a day of fun, free food and more. Legal Services of the Hudson Valley will also be in attendance to address questions from City residents concerning their legal rights as tenants.
