Join the City of Newburgh Police Department and city officials for the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The event will be located on Broadway, beginning at the intersection of Johnston Street down to the intersection of Liberty Street. All City residents are invited to attend and all vendors are encouraged to register.
National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods safer, and better places to live in. The event gathers community agencies, churches, organizations, businesses, and city officials together for a community-wide celebration. It is designed to strengthen the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement in order to foster a true sense of community.
The Police Department will be on the scene actively engaging with the community while distributing free ice cream, face masks and hand sanitizers. There will also be free food, entertainment, a bouncy house, snow cones, community resources and so much more!
Interested vendors must fill the National Night Out Participation form and submit it to Maritsa Wilson at 401 Washington Street, Newburgh, NY 12550 by July 26.
Contact Maritza Wilson by phone at 845-569-7373 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
