The City of Newburgh Council Work Sessions and Regular Council Meetings will be held in-person on the third floor of City Hall, 83 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550. All meetings will be livestreamed via the City’s website, and Facebook pages, as well as recorded. The recording will be made available at a later date.
The next Council Work Session is on Thursday, March 23, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall. Immediately following the conclusion of the Council Work Session, the City Council is expected to convene an executive session to discuss matters pertaining to proposed, pending, or current litigation and the medical, financial, credit or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation.
The next Regular Council Meeting is on Monday, March 27, 2023, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall. A public hearing is scheduled during the next Regular Council Meeting to receive public comments concerning amendments to Chapter 300 entitled "Zoning" of the City of Newburgh Code of Ordinances related to adult use cannabis.
Members of the public who wish to provide comments regarding the agenda, general matters of City business or the public hearings, during the March 27, 2023, Council meeting may do so in-person at the Council Chambers in City Hall.
