Fall, 2022 Small Business Bootcamp

NEWBURGH, NY – The City of Newburgh, through its co-sponsorship agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and partnership with the Newburgh Free Library (NFL) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), is happy to announce the Fall, 2022 Small Business Bootcamp Series in the City of Newburgh. This is the 2nd of 2 Small Business Bootcamps offered in 2022.

The 4 session, no-cost, Small Business Bootcamp series is a collaborative outreach to assist City of Newburgh residents with the tools they need to begin or continue a career as an entrepreneur. 

Hosted by the Newburgh Free Library, the Fall, 2022 sessions include:

September 21, 2022
“Not-For-Profit Organizations VS Social Ventures (B Corporation and B Certification)” 

October 5, 2022 (Zoom, Only)
“How to Generate Customer Engagement” 

October 19, 2022
“Being Part of a Professional Business Association”

November 2, 2022
“Newburgh Business Stories – Panel Discussion” 

The sessions will run from 6:30 PM – 7:15 PM. As requested through a community survey, the sessions will be held in a hybrid format to allow members of the public to attend in-person at the Newburgh Free Library (124 Grand Street) or virtually via Zoom videoconference. Due to Yom Kippur, the presentation scheduled for October 5 will be made available via Zoom only.

The City of Newburgh and its partners plan to keep up the momentum generated by this program and offer additional small business workshops as well as another Small Business Bootcamp in the Spring, 2023.
