The Regional Economic Development Councils Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) process for 2022 is open and accepting applications! This year’s core funding includes $225 million in grants and tax credits, to fund high value regional priority projects, as well as additional funding from state agencies available to support community revitalization and business growth consistent with the existing REDC plans through the CFA process.
The City of Newburgh is available to coordinate resolutions of support from the City of Newburgh City Council for community groups or organizations. Applicants requesting a resolution of support for their 2022 Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) must submit their request via e-mail to Omar Balbuena-Palma at obpalma@cityofnewburgh-ny.gov by June 24, 2022.
The deadline to request a CFA resolution of support by the City of Newburgh City Council is as follows:
- Friday, 06/24/2021, for inclusion on the 07/07/2022 City Council Work Session, 07/11/2022 City Council Meeting.
It is important to note that not all programs require a formal resolution, so please be sure to review your identified funding source carefully prior to submitting a request for a resolution of support.
As a reminder, the City of Newburgh holds only one (1) City Council meeting in July. For additional information, please contact City of Newburgh Director of Planning and Development, Alexandra Church, at (845) 569-9400.
