City Update - Monday, September 13, 2021

Newburgh NY

Although most COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, due to the aggressive rise in cases of COVID-19, the Orange County Department of Health is recommending and strongly urging all residents to wear a mask when indoors in public in accordance with federal CDC guidance. City Government is here to help and please know that you can find lots of information on the City of Newburgh website.

The next City Council meeting will be held in-person today at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall (83 Broadway). Visit the Agenda Center to obtain a digital copy of the City Council meeting agenda. The meeting will be streamed live and is available to the public to view in real-time. During the meeting, City Council will receive comments from the public concerning a Local Law enacting Chapter 287 to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Newburgh entitled "Vehicles, Off-road." Members of the public who wish to provide comments regarding the agenda and general matters of City business, as well as public comments regarding the proposed Local Law must attend in person. Everyone in attendance is required to wear a face mask at all times while inside the building.
