In the City of Newburgh, rainwater runoff and sewage from households and businesses are combined and directed to a wastewater treatment plant, located at the foot of Renwick Street.
The facility is operated as a service to the city by a private firm, Severn Trent Services. The Chief Operator is Mr. Joe Sagnis
