The City of Newburgh hosted a very successful Rabies Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Activity Center. The free event was sponsored by the Orange County Department of Health and the City of Newburgh Police Department.
There were a total of 248 animals vaccinated- including 189 dogs, 58 cats, and 1 ferret. 86 of the animals were from the City of Newburgh.
The Clinic was organized by City of Newburgh Animal Control Officer Joyce Kyles, pictured (left, center) with some of the clients.
