The Gidney Avenue Basketball Courts are located on Gidney Avenue just west of Liberty Street. There are two courts that are used for open play and community basketball programs and leagues.
In May 2007 the City council approved the bid for the reconstruction of the Gidney Avenue Basketball courts. Construction is scheduled to take place between June and August of 2007. Sporting activities were rescheduled to the Delano Hitch Basketball Courts until construction is completed.
Update: The courts are "open for business" again.
