Dog Kennels.
1. No kennels shall be in the front or side yard of any building.
2. No kennels shall be on the premises of any two or more family dwelling except with the permission of the owner. |
Pit Bulls
150-25 |
Whenever outside of closed premises, a pit bull shall be restrained by an adequate collar and leash and shall have a muzzle securely fixed to the animals mouth. Also, owners with a pit bull outside of closed premises shall carry an implement capable of forcing open the animal’s jaws. |
150-27 |
A sign reading “WARNING: DANGEROUS DOG” must be posted at each entrance to any premises by the owner of the premises where a pit bull is kept, maintained or housed. |

Any violations of the sections above are to be considered violation arrests. Appearance tickets are to be issued in most cases. |
Note 2 |
For any dog owner guilty of a second or subsequent violation of any of these provisions: In addition to any other penalties that may be imposed, the animal in question may be confiscated and later destroyed. |
