Police records/reports may be obtained at the police department during normal business hrs Mon-Fri 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (excluding holidays).

Crime victims are entitled to a copy of the crime report at no charge otherwise the fee is $.25 per page or the cost to reproduce the requested items.
Requests for police records/reports may also be made by submitting an email here or by calling the records department at (845) 569-7538. Please provide as much information as possible including the name, date, location, type of record, who is requesting the record/report and a contact phone number. If the record can be produced you will need to make arrangements to pick up during business hours or provide a self-addressed stamped envelope for mailing. Due to security reasons we cannot e-mail or fax reports.
There is a $1.00 fee per report for a Certified Report.
The fee to obtain records in cd/dvd format is $25.00.
Arrest and criminal history can be obtained only from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. The fees are subject to change but the instructions to do so are contained here in Civilian Record Review document.
