In January 2006, the Police Department, working with a team of community members, developed the following procedures and forms for receiving complaints (or compliments) from the public:

Event Permit

The Newburgh City Code requires that anyone wishing to organize an event anywhere in the city that may be attended by 20 or more people must first obtain a permit.

To obtain an event permit, fill out the Event Permit Application (doc) and return it with the application fee of $25 to the office of the City Manager (City Hall, 83 Broadway). Among other requirements, the application asks for proof of insurance coverage.
