Lourdes Zapata-Perez directs the City's community development, economic development, and planning functions. Formerly Vice President of Community and Economic Development for the South Bronx, she holds a Masters in Public Administration from New York University, and a B.A. in Law and Society/Women's Studies from Hood College in Frederick, MD. She is fluent in Spanish.

As Planner, Ian MacDougall implements and manages key planning efforts in the City. Revitalization projects include the waterfront, the sustainable master plan, and rejuvenation of Broadway. Mr. MacDougall holds a Masters Degree of Urban and Rural Planning and a B.A. with Honors in Geography.

Formerly the Deputy Director of Housing and Finance for a Bronx nonprofit, she has more than 10 years experience providing legal, managerial, and housing development and business development support. |

Tara Miller manages the daily operations of the office for the Department of Planning & Development. She provides and coordinating administrative support for the office staff. Ms. Miller is the point person for information and resources.
