The Waterfront Advisory Committee is authorized to review and make recommendations to appropriate agencies
regarding the consistency of proposed actions with the policy standards and conditions of the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP).

On September 9, 2007, BFJ Consultants presented two important reports on Newburgh waterfront:
To assist the committee in reviewing proposed actions affecting the waterfront, the applicant or agency proposing the action must prepare a
Coastal Assessment Form (CAF).
The City Building Inspector shall be responsible for enforcing compliance with LWRP standards and conditions.

The Waterfront Advisory Committee scheduled for August 19, 2009 has been
rescheduled to Wednesday, August 12, at 7 p.m.
Meetings are held in the City of Newburgh Heritage Center (Old Grand Street
courthouse) at 123 Grand Street.
The public is welcome to attend. |
