Citizens Advisory Committee Seeks Members
The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is seeking new members to represent
districts within the City of Newburgh. The purpose is to create a committee composed of
citizens from the several wards and districts of the City of Newburgh whose duty is to
bring to the Council's attention matters relating to quality of life issues in their
neighborhoods, preservation of the Historic District or any other suggestions relating to
the city and its government.
The Committee acts as a conduit to bring complaints and suggestions of citizens
to the attention of the City Council with the goal of revitalization, beautification and
restoration of the City’s neighborhoods.
The following vacancies currently exist:
- Ward 1/ District 1
- Ward 2/ Districts 1 & 2
- Ward 3/ Districts 1 & 2
- Ward 4/ Districts 1, 2 and 3
- Ward 5/ District 2
- Ward 6/ District 1 & 2
- Ward 7/ District 2
- Ward 8/ District 2
- Ward 9/District 2
