Plans are under way to celebrate the 2009 anniversaries in the Newburgh Bay, the geographical "pivot point" of the achievements of Hudson, Fulton and Champlain. Join the fun!
Kickoff Weekend
Newburgh Bay 2009 kicked off the regional celebration with a huge event-filled Kickoff Weekend November 7-9.
Newburgh Beacon Bay 400 - Documentary Film Project
Funds are being raised for a documentary film about the 400 years of Newburgh Bay history, including Newburgh, Beacon, and surrounding communities. The Newburgh Beacon Bay 400 documentary project is being co-sponsored by Mount Saint Mary College. The producer-director is J.C. Barone, former director of media studies at MSMC.

- "Mingling of the Waters" to recognize 400 years of nations coming to Hudson Valley.
- "400 Trails, 400 Miles, 400 Years, 4 Counties" challenge begins with Ramble 2008 and ends with Ramble 2009.
- Steam tech events - autos, vessels, machinery, collector toys, & solar updating.
- Antique auto Quad rally 1909-1919-1929.
- Fashion 'Project Runway' Quad challenge for students & area designers.
